Nestled in the heart of British Columbia, Big White Ski Resort is a winter wonderland perfect for adventurers and relaxation seekers alike. Among its many attractions, tubing stands out as a fun and exhilarating activity for all ages. With its dedicated tubing park, the resort offers a stress-free way to glide down snowy slopes without the need for skis or snowboards. Here’s everything you need to know about tubing at Big White and the other incredible activities you can enjoy at this premier ski destination.
We had such an amazing visit with our family last weekend that was so much fun we can’t wait to go back.
Tubing at Big White
The Big White Tube Park features multiple groomed lanes designed for smooth and fast rides. Equipped with a magic carpet lift to take you back to the top, you can enjoy hours of tubing fun without the hassle of hiking uphill. The park is well-lit in the evenings, creating a magical atmosphere for nighttime tubing sessions. Whether you’re a kid or just a kid at heart, this activity guarantees endless laughter and excitement.
We try to get up there at least once every winter it’s about an hour and a half drive from our home to Big White plus the cost of tickets so it can be an expensive activity. We try to cut costs by being as prepared as possible with extra snacks and drinks and a huge list of necessities for any tubing or skiing trip.
The weather this year up at Big White is so mild we barely got cold but when it’s normal temperatures be prepared to bundle up to protect your toes and fingers. It can definitely be chilly when the temp plummets below -20 degrees.
