It’s always exciting to visit new shops in town especially when they are delicious treat stops. We took the time to enjoy a tasty frozen treat at one of the newest frozen yogurt and ice cream shops in town called Swirl World. You can load up on all kinds of frozen yogurt and toppings as far as the eye can see. There is a variety of flavours and so many toppings and goodies you could make combinations for days.
You can find Swirl World in Kelowna at:
3030 Pandosy Street
They do the purchase by the weight of your cup so it is excellent pricing depending on how heavy you make it. I decided to try the candy floss yogurt with some cookie dough as well topped with chocolate dipped strawberries, candies of all kinds, chocolate chips, hot fudge, and whipped cream. The kids went ham and enjoyed multiple flavours and toppings.
The first stop of our day was McMillan Farms sunflower maze for some fun in the sun. There are rows and rows of sunflowers trimmed into mazes just like the corn maze. The entire maze took us just over an hour and the views and photos were beautiful. They setup selfie stations and photo props along the way and they took you to the maze in a tractor.
The best part of the entire maze was how beautiful the sunflowers were in every photo. We had fun finding our way through the maze and the kids loved the ride in the tractor. I highly recommend you visit before the flowers are gone again for another year. They recommend you buy your tickets online to avoid crowding but you can pay at the farm as well. It’s $40 for a family of up to 5 and toddlers under 3 are free, each child is $10.95 and adults are $14.24 each.
What a wonderful way to spend the day in our beautiful Okanagan home. Kelowna has so much to offer and we are so proud to be able to share our experiences and adventures with the world.
