DIY Easter Trees

The next holiday is right around the corner and we have already begun preparations for the whole Easter celebration. I absolutely love the adorable Easter trees that you can find in stores this time of year, but I am not a fan of the prices. I am not paying $30-40 per twig, especially when I want my daycare kids to get one to.

What you need:
  •  Long branches
  • Pink, Blue, and Sparkly Spray Paint
  • Jars or Vases
  • Sand or Oatmeal
I bought 3 cans of paint from Walmart for under $30 and I cut long branches from around my yard!

 Spray the top half pink.

Spray the bottom blue, then once it dries slightly spray with sparkles.

 Bring inside to fully dry.

Place them in your jars or vases using sand or oatmeal as your weight.

Now we are going to make cute little decorations for our trees all month long. Today we made these cute salt dough decorations.
