I feel like my kids are eating my entire monthly food budget after school. I am sure I am not the only parent that feels this way, and if I am correct we need more cheap, filling and easy after school snacks to fall back on. Some of our usual snacks include:
- Apple slices, bananas, oranges and grapes
- Carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, snap peas
- Popcorn, pretzels, rice chips and crackers
- Cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, smoothies
- Pepperoni, cold cuts, chicken nuggets, pizza
- Cereal, oatmeal, cookies, muffins,
This is just a list of our basic after school snacks. But we seem to be getting sick of the same old thing. If you want to start adding some creativity to your youngsters snack routine try these cool lists written by some killer bloggers:
